Runfinity 2.0

One loop of the IIM Indore campus, open to the city as much as to us, and run entirely not-for-profit.

The run

Not a race against anyone else

Runfinity is Atharv Ranbhoomi’s road race, back as Runfinity 2.0. Three distances, one campus loop, and a field that last year was four parts city to one part college. Registration covers what it costs to put the run on. Everything past that goes to the three causes below.

Three ways to run it

Pick your distance

  • The field setting off from the stadium gate at the start of Runfinity 1.03K
    Shortest distance

The easiest way in. A short, flat stretch of the campus loop built for first-timers, families, and anyone running their first bib number.

  • Two runners coming down the finish straight together at Runfinity 1.05K
    One lap

A single circuit of the campus loop. The distance most first-time runners finish comfortably, and the one most of last year’s field chose.

  • A finisher throwing both arms up at the Runfinity 1.0 arch10K
    Two laps

The same circuit run twice. Second time round you already know every rise on it, which is either an advantage or exactly the problem.

The course

One lap of campus

Out along IIM Road, round the top of the campus, and back down through the quiet side. Start and finish are the same line at the cricket stadium, so the 10K is simply the lap again.

This year’s theme

Sainik · Shakti · Swasthya

  • सैनिकSainik

    7.4 lakh

registered war widows, end of 2024

A tribute to the families behind the uniform. India’s forces are backed by more than 2.6 million ex-servicemen and the families who carry the weight of service long after it ends. Every registration under Sainik goes toward supporting them directly.

  • शक्तिShakti

    1 in 4

girls miss school during their period

Last year’s cause, carried forward. Limited access to hygiene products and the taboos around them keep girls out of classrooms. Last year every registration funded a pack of sanitary napkins for an underprivileged girl.

  • स्वास्थ्यSwasthya

    39 million

pushed into poverty by medical bills each year

Out-of-pocket healthcare costs force families to choose between treatment and everything else. Every registration under Swasthya goes toward closing that gap for patients who cannot otherwise afford care.

Shakti — record attempt

The count opens with registrations. The attempt is on the Maximum Distribution of Organic Sanitary Napkins by a College.
